Project: Embodied Injustices: Race, Epigenetics, and COVID-19

The vast inequities in COVID-19 infection and mortality rates within communities of color coincides with national attention to the effects of systemic racism. I analyze the potential for epigenetic research to operationalize the study of social determinants of the health and risk factors that underscore the racial disparities in COVID-19 outcomes.
